Everything was Python and nothing hurt.

Speaker: Sett Wai

An exploration of some great python tools and libraries in the ecosystem that illustrate Python's philosophy of simplicity and ease of use. From every-day modules like pytest, requests and httpretty for testing RESTful services, to domain-specific/technical ones like nltk(Natural Language Tool-kit) and assessing the newly proposed async module "tulip" (PEP3156).

I will be demonstrating how easily anyone can dive straight into any domain or problem when modules adhere to the Zen of Python(PEP20) and the importance of API design.

Return to schedule.
